At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on May 23, the President of the Republic of Singapore Halimah Yacob arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zulaykho Mahkamova and other officials met the high-ranking guest at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

Top-level talks will be held during the visit. The agenda includes further development of a constructive political dialogue, mutual support within the framework of regional and international organizations, promotion of investment projects with the participation of leading companies and banking institutions of the two countries, and expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchange.

As previously reported, in January this year, the President of Uzbekistan paid a state visit to this country at the invitation of the President of Singapore.
