President of the Republic of Singapore Halimah Yacob, who is on a state visit to Uzbekistan, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zulaykho Mahkamova, arrived in Samarkand.

The high-ranking guest, who arrived in the ancient city on the Afrosiyob train, was welcomed by Samarkand region’s Hokim Erkinjon Turdimov and other officials.
