The President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, who is in Uzbekistan on a state visit at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the Nurillabay Palace in the city of Khiva.
This palace was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It is a historical complex consisting of a madrasah, more than 100 rooms, and galleries. Not only skilled artisans from Khiva took part in decorating the palace premises, but also foreign artists and decorators, who found an excellent combination of oriental style with European Art Nouveau style. The interior of the rooms is distinguished by its sophistication – fireplaces, Venetian windows, and gilded bronze chandeliers with crystal pendants.
The Leader of Mongolia and his spouse were informed about the palace’s history.
This historical complex was reconstructed and restored in 2017 by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The palace made a significant impression on the distinguished guests.
