The President of Mongolia laid flowers at the Independence Monument
19:00 / 2024-06-23

Upon arrival in the city of Tashkent, the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, accompanied by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, visited the New Uzbekistan Park.

The distinguished guest laid flowers at the Independence Monument.

During a brief tour of the complex, representatives of the Mongolian delegation were informed about the ensemble’s contents and architectural solutions.

The New Uzbekistan Park and the Independence Monument were erected in honor of the country’s 30th anniversary of independence.

More than three thousand years – so deep are the roots of the history of national statehood on the territory of our Motherland. Any person contemplating the monument will witness the artistic embodiment of this glorious past.

It has become a good tradition for high-ranking guests and official foreign delegations to lay wreaths at the monument during a visit to the country.

The attention of the delegation members was attracted by the images of great scientists and thinkers, courageous commanders, and brave conquerors, our Jadid ancestors, depicted on the walls of the complex. It was noted that the image of the Humo bird – a symbol of peace, freedom, and goodness – successfully crowns this majestic monument.
