The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met the distinguished guest at “Tashkent” international airport named after Islam Karimov.

As previously reported, within the framework of negotiations at the highest level, it is planned to discuss prospects of further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, cultural, humanitarian and other fields, as well as exchange views on current regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Following the meetings, a Joint statement of the presidents of the two countries, a number of other bilateral documents aimed at dynamic development of friendly multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will be signed.
