The President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, who is in Uzbekistan on an official visit, accompanied by his daughter Laura Mattarella, arrived in Samarkand today.

The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva, and the leadership of Samarkand Regional Hokimiyat met high-ranking guests at Samarkand International Airport.

Tomorrow, on November 11, the President of Italy will visit the historical and cultural monuments of Samarkand.
