President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, accompanied by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kongratbay Sharipov, visited the Technopark in Tashkent.

The distinguished guest was shown a wide range of high-tech products produced at the Technopark’s enterprises – electrical equipment, elevators and escalators, industrial air conditioners, energy-efficient hot water boilers, individual heat pumps, smart electronic meters, water pumps, advanced building materials, and others.

The President of Bulgaria highly appreciated the industrial and innovative potential of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that this advanced innovation complex was created on the initiative of the Head of State for the development of industrial cooperation and the production of high-tech products.

Eighteen production sites are located here due to 465 million direct investments. Products produced under leading foreign brands and their control are in high demand in domestic and foreign markets. Currently, the products are exported to more than 25 countries worldwide.

The importance of deepening cooperation between the leading enterprises of the two countries and the exchange of experience in the implementation of advanced technologies was emphasized.
