Tashkent hosted the Third International Congress and Exhibition “Pharma Uzbekistan and Central Asia”.

This major event brought together heads of investment projects, significant enterprises, government bodies, regulatory and supervisory authorities, licensors of production technologies, developers, manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, representatives of engineering and design and construction companies, and suppliers of technologies and services.

The event was attended by delegations led by heads and technical directors of more than 200 companies, such as Uzgermed, Mediopharm, Dora Line, Nika Pharm, Nobel Pharmsanoat, Zuma Pharma, Grand Pharm Trade, Dori-Darmon, Dentafill Plus, LAFZ, Novopharma Plus, and others.

The most significant investment projects for the construction and modernization of production facilities and the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of existing enterprises – pharmaceutical product manufacturers – were discussed.

As part of the congress, organized with the assistance of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, lectures were given on the role of state regulation and support in the development of the pharmaceutical sector, dialogue between the state and business, prospects and problems of the pharmaceutical market in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, goals and opportunities of the pharmaceutical industry from the point of view of new initiatives and projects of the state.
