Tashkent hosted a working meeting with the participation of representatives of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan and the Indonesian delegation.
Chairperson of the Foundation Gayane Umerova and Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia Martini Mohamad Paham discussed the Fourth World Conference on Creative Economy to be held in Uzbekistan on October 2-4, 2024.
Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation on the development of the creative economy was signed between the two institutions.
In 2024, Uzbekistan will host the fourth conference, which will be dedicated to “Inclusively Creative: Shifted Reality” and will address social and economic problems arising from the rapid development of technology, in particular, the emergence of artificial intelligence, protection of intellectual property rights and ethical aspects related to creativity.
The conference aims to raise awareness of the importance of the creative sector in the economy and promote the exchange of ideas and experiences to develop global cooperation in the creative economy.
The event will be organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, and the World Intellectual Property Organization.
