As is known, the construction of the Olympic Village continues in Tashkent.

Specialists led by the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Adham Ikramov, and the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee, Oybek Qosimov, visited this facility and got acquainted with the progress of large-scale construction.

As is known, the installation of metal structures in the vast complex being built for the summer Asian Youth Games “Tashkent 2025” has been completed, and the finishing work continues.

Officials discussed the progress of construction with representatives of the contractor, the Chinese company САМСЕ. Wishes were expressed to speed up the pace of work.

During the dialogue, based on the President’s instructions, the issues of equipping each facility of the Olympic Village, installing modern equipment, improving the quality of sports equipment, and introducing new technologies were discussed. Following the meeting, it was emphasized that the Olympic Village should become a scientific and methodological center. This base will take the development of Uzbekistan sports to a new level.
