The OIC representative notes the participation of both youth and the older generation in the elections as a great achievement of the country
At a regular meeting held at the Central Election Commission with international observers – representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, it was noted that the electoral process is proceeding in strict accordance with international standards and that all the necessary conditions have been created to ensure the constitutional right of citizens.
The OIC representative Boubacar Adamu noted that the preparations for the elections were carried out in accordance with democratic principles, international norms, and standards and stressed that both young people and representatives of the older generation showed the same activity in voting.
At the suggestion of the CEC, an observer mission of the CIS Executive Committee also monitors the process of preparation and conduction of elections.
During the visit to Uzbekistan, the mission members visited several polling stations in Uzbekistan. They will present relevant conclusions and recommendations based on the results of their observations.
