The official welcoming ceremony of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, paying a state visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held at the Zagulba Residence.

The Leader of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his spouse were warmly welcomed by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse.

A guard of honor was lined up on the square in front of the residence in honor of the distinguished guest.

The heads of state walked around the guard of honor. The military band played the national anthems of the two countries.

After joint photographing, a bilateral meeting between the Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev began.
