The official welcoming ceremony of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place at the Presidential Palace in Ankara on June 6.

A guard of honor lined up in honor of the distinguished guest. Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took the podium. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Türkiye were played. The leaders of the two countries walked around the guard of honor.

At these moments, negotiations between the heads of state are taking place in a contracted format. The parties will discuss further developing and strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
