The official welcoming ceremony of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, paying a state visit to China, was held on January 24 at the Great Hall of the People in Tiananmen Square in Beijing.

A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the President of Uzbekistan. 

The President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping met the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The leaders greeted members of the official delegations of the two countries.

A military orchestra performed the national anthems of Uzbekistan and China.

The head of the honor guard gave a report to the Leader of Uzbekistan. The heads of state walked around the guard of honor.

Following the ceremony, high-level talks began.
