On February 26, the International Congress Center in Tashkent hosted an official welcoming ceremony for the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, who arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, warmly greeted the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium. A military orchestra performed the national anthems of both countries.

The leaders walked around the guard of honor and introduced members of their official delegations to each other.

The high-level talks began in a contracted format following a joint photo session.
