A solemn welcoming ceremony was held at Tashkent-Humo International Airport for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit.

In honor of the distinguished guest, the national flags of both countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up. A military orchestra performed the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Presidents Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev walked along the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegations.

The main events of the visit will take place tomorrow, November 15.
