According to the National Statistics Committee, approximately 5.3 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes between January and June 2025.

This figure represents an increase of 1.7 million visitors, or 48.9%, compared to the same period last year.

The breakdown of foreign visitors by purpose of travel during this period is as follows:

Visiting relatives – 3,596,799 people;

Leisure travel – 783,696 people;

Official visits – 594,023 people;

Business trips – 223,581 people;

Medical treatment – 48,557 people;

Study – 9,546 people.
