According to the National Statistics Committee, as of January 1, 2025, the total number of primary museum exhibits in Uzbekistan amounted to 2.7 million.

This figure increased by 129,200, or 5 percent, compared to the previous year.

The distribution of primary museum exhibits across regions is as follows:

Tashkent city – 1,255,915 units;

Samarkand region – 239,650;

Republic of Karakalpakstan – 197,506;

Surkhandarya region – 178,080;

Fergana region – 161,403;

Other regions – 703,441.
