Healthcare and the social sphere are the most developed areas in Uzbekistan. This is also proved by the fact that over the past five years the number of enterprises in these areas has increased by 4,718.

As of August 1, 2022, companies and organizations in Uzbekistan, operating in healthcare and social service accounted for 2 percent of the total number of operating companies and organizations.

In 2018, there were 6,426 companies and organizations in this area, in 2019 – 7,467, in 2020 – 8,554, and in 2021 – 9,959. By 2022, their total number reached 11,144.
