An automated system of state registration and accounting of business entities is gradually being introduced in Uzbekistan.

This is an important factor for the population and foreign investors while creating and developing their businesses.

According to Tashkent City Statistics Department, 202 new enterprises and organizations with the participation of foreign capital were created in January-February 2022. In particular, 71 enterprises with the participation of foreign capital in trade, 30 – in industry, 22 – in construction, 12 – in accommodation and catering services, 14 – in information and communications, 5 – in transport and storage, 4 – in the healthcare and social services, 4 – in agriculture, forestry and fisheries.

It should be noted that as of March 1, 2022, the number of registered enterprises and organizations with the participation of foreign capital amounted to 8.2 thousand, of which 8 thousand or 96.8 percent are active. Compared to the same period last year, this indicator increased by 0.9 thousand or 12.8 percent.
