The number of enterprises continues to increase
In January 2019, the number of newly created enterprises and organizations in Uzbekistan amounted to over 13.2 thousand units, which is 8.1 thousand units more than the same period last year.

According to the State Statistics Committee, as a result, the number of existing enterprises and organizations from the beginning of the year increased by 46.6 thousand units (16.1%) and amounted to 335.7 thousand units.
As of February 1, 2019, the number of active enterprises with foreign capital amounted to 7810 units. Compared to the same period last year, their number increased by 2202, or 39,3%. Most of them belong to the Russian Federation, the Republic of Turkey, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea.
