An automated system of state registration and accounting of business entities is gradually being introduced into practice in Uzbekistan. And this, in turn, serves as an important factor for the establishment and development of private business on the part of the population and foreign investors.

According to the Statistics Department of the city of Tashkent, in January 2022, 87 new enterprises with the participation of foreign capital were organized.

In particular, 26 of the enterprises with the participation of foreign capital began their activities in trade, 13 – industry, 9 – construction, 3 – services (housing and food), 3 – information and communications, 5 – storage and transportation of goods, 4 – healthcare and social sphere, 3 – agriculture, forestry, fish farming.

As of February 1, 2022, the number of registered enterprises and organizations with the participation of foreign capital amounted to 8.1 thousand, of which 7.9 thousand or 96.9 percent are currently operating. This figure increased by 0.6 thousand or 9.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
