As of January 1, 2024, the number of registered enterprises in the trade industry in Uzbekistan amounted to 220,265 units, the Statistics Agency reports.

This figure increased by 1.1 times compared to the corresponding period in 2023.

The dynamics of increase in these enterprises over recent years is as follows:

In 2020 – 106,874;

In 2021 – 140,182;

In 2022 – 166,105;

In 2023 – 194,249;

In 2023 – 220,265.
