A workshop on “High-quality housing construction and technologies for environmentally friendly, comfortable and smart cities” took place in Beijing as part of the conference of the Ministers of Construction of China and Central Asian countries.
The Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Hidoyatov attended the event.

Current issues in industry development were discussed at the event, with the participation of heads of relevant agencies from Central Asian countries and the People’s Republic of China, leading specialists, and international experts.

The event showcased Uzbekistan’s best practices in areas such as the introduction of innovative construction technologies, the construction of energy-efficient, environmentally sustainable buildings, and the implementation of the smart city concept.

The Uzbekistan delegation presented the “New Tashkent” project, which aroused great interest and was highly praised by the event participants. This project is being implemented in Uzbekistan based on the principles of modern urban planning.

Prospects for expanding cooperation between China and Central Asian countries in the fields of building materials production, architecture, engineering, and innovative solutions were discussed at the event.
