A meeting under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the reform of the civil service continues.

The new system introduced by the Law “On State Civil Service” was tested as an experiment in Samarkand region and the State Tax Committee.

Hokim of Samarkand region and Chairman of the State Tax Committee informed about the achievements of the new system.

After hearing their reports, the Head of the state instructed to introduce an open recruitment system in all agencies of the country by the end of the year.

Responsible persons were entrusted with the task of fully entering diplomas of higher education institutions and employment records into the existing electronic database within two months and integrating it into the electronic platform of the competition.

It was instructed to hold a competition for 4 thousand vacant positions by the end of the year.

“Each ministry and hokimiyat should start selecting personnel from higher education institutions. For the systematic establishment of this practice, each minister and hokim of the region will announce a program for the selection of young specialists within a month.

Within the framework of the program, talented young people studying in the final courses of higher education institutions will be selected, who will undergo an internship in the system of the ministry and hokimiyat, and after graduation will be hired based on competition.

At the same time, students will be covered not only by domestic, but also by prestigious foreign universities”, the President noted.
