The new Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents his credentials to the President of Turkmenistan

On December 13, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ravshanbek Alimov, who presented his credentials.

The diplomat expressed gratitude for the reception and conveyed warm greetings from the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He stressed the importance of strengthening the traditional ties of friendship with independent, neutral Turkmenistan.

Thanking for the kind words, the President of Turkmenistan congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible post and conveyed his best wishes to the top leadership of Uzbekistan. As noted, friendly relations between the two countries are long-term and strategic.

A fruitful interstate dialogue was discussed at the meeting, actively developing in all directions. The sides noted the stable development of bilateral relations and the deepening of cooperation in energy, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and other spheres. Moreover, both countries cooperate closely and coordinate their actions in international and regional affairs.

Ambassador Ravshanbek Alimov assured the President of his desire to contribute to further developing traditionally friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
