On the occasion of January 14 – the Defenders of the Motherland Day and the 32nd anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a group of the military unit of Samarkand garrison continues enlightenment activities to strengthen the unity of the army and the people, educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, enhancing the sense of pride in the national army.

Another patriotic festival was held in the center of Payariq district.

The festival began with a marathon under the motto “5000 steps to a healthy life”. The event, held under the leadership of the heads of district sectors, was attended by thousands of youth representatives.

As part of the festival, demonstration performances by the guard of honor and fights between hand-to-hand combat masters were demonstrated. The military orchestra performed musical compositions glorifying the Motherland.
