“The multicolor of native nature”
10:06 / 2023-06-06

The Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan hosted an exhibition “The multicolor of native nature”.

The exhibition dedicated to World Environment Day is organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change and the Creative Association of Artists of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The plein-air was held in May in five territories of Uzbekistan – in the reserves “Ugam-Chatkal” (Tashkent region) and “Hisor” (Kashkadarya region), Zaamin National Park (Jizzakh region), Bukhara specialized nursery “Jeyran”, as well as in the ecotourism territory “Discovery” in Muynak district. 56 representatives of the Creative Association of Artists participated in the event. They presented more than 160 works. The primary source of creative ideas is, of course, nature, but the authors of the works focused on decorative compositions.

At the opening of the exhibition, Chairman of the Creative Association of Artists of Uzbekistan Ibrohim Valikhujayev, First Deputy Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change Obid Qudratov, People's Artist of Uzbekistan, academician Bahodir Jalolov noted the importance of the plein-air and the attitude of artists to nature protection.
