First Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Mamanbiy Omarov met with the CEO of Dongfeng Wang Peng.

According to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, at the meeting, an exchange of views took place on projects implemented in Uzbekistan for developing the public transport system, existing needs and the need to update the rolling stock with modern buses and minibusses, and projects implemented in this area with the participation of foreign companies.

Earlier, it was reported that Dongfeng Special Car Company plans to implement in 2 stages a project for the production of electric buses in Furkat district of Fergana region, the cost of which is $100 million, and the annual capacity is 1000 units.
