During the visit, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov and representatives of the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan. The current state and prospects of bilateral scientific-technical cooperation were discussed. In particular, Vladimir Gusakov spoke in detail about the conditions created for young scientists aimed at undergoing a scientific internship by the Ministry of Innovative Development.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on establishment of joint scientific laboratories in research institutions of Uzbekistan with the assistance of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Organization of joint laboratories will contribute to creation of competitive scientific developments by using the existing scientific and innovative potential.
