The delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Sarvarkhan Buzrukhanov visited the Republic of Korea to discuss bilateral cooperation issues in education.

The delegation visited the Presidential Administration, the Global Education Planning Bureau of the Ministry of Education, the National Institute for International Education, higher education institutions of the country, the Eurasia Networks Group, Edulink Global, BizData, Korea Consultancy Foundation, and others.

An agreement was reached on academic and student exchanges between the two countries’ universities and expanding the advanced training system. It is also planned to create additional opportunities to finance the education of Uzbekistan students in the Republic of Korea based on grants in architecture, mechanical engineering, electronics and computer engineering, information technology, artificial intelligence, urban planning, and others.

In addition, a Cooperation Agreement was signed on implementing ODA (Official Development Assistance) projects in higher education in Uzbekistan.
