The Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with representatives of the American company Amazon Kuiper.

The parties exchanged views on cooperation in the development of digital infrastructure and the improvement of broadband internet services.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Digital Technologies and Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services LLC. The document outlines areas of cooperation aimed at providing high-speed internet services in Uzbekistan through the Project Kuiper satellite network and at developing the country’s telecommunications infrastructure.
