The Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Agriculture signed a Cooperation Agreement on the introduction of space technologies and a space monitoring system in agriculture.

The documents were signed by the Director General of the Uzbekcosmos Agency Shukhrat Kadirov and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kakhramon Yuldashev.

According to the Uzbekcosmos Agency, an agreement was reached on preparing an action plan for organizing workshops, implementing joint projects related to the introduction of space technologies and a space monitoring system, and other tasks.
