Issues of expanding cooperation between the two countries in higher education, science, and innovation were discussed at the meeting.

More than 10 cooperation agreements have been signed between higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Egypt, and it is planned to increase this indicator.

Within the framework of cooperation with Egypt, opportunities have been established to improve the skills of Arabic language teachers in higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and attract highly qualified specialists from Egypt.

In addition, over the past period, a delegation from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies visited Egypt and reached agreements with several higher educational institutions on further intensification of cooperation.

It was noted that to strengthen cooperation in higher education and science, a joint working group was created, which included leading universities and specialists from the two countries. The first meeting of this group will be held online in April of this year.
