On September 3-7, Uzbekistan delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov visited the United States.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan held meetings with Special Assistant to the President of the United States Nicholas Berliner, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Gary Peters, Vice President of the World Bank Antonella Bassani, as well as the leadership of several leading American companies.

During the talks, issues of strengthening bilateral interaction in various directions were discussed. Particular attention was paid to intensifying trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

During the visit, the Uzbekistan – American IT Association “TechBridge” was launched to strengthen partnerships in the information and communication sphere.

The Uzbekistan delegation also participated in a gala event dedicated to the 32nd Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan at the US Library of Congress.
