Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a telephone conversation with the OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the OSCE Secretary General cordially congratulated Bakhtiyor Saidov on his appointment as the head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan and wished him success in his responsible state activities.

It was noted that in recent years, the interaction of Uzbekistan with the OSCE has reached a qualitatively new level. The country’s cooperation with the institutions of the organization is developing dynamically in all three dimensions of the OSCE’s activities.

The intention of the parties to further strengthen mutually beneficial and constructive cooperation with the OSCE and its institutions in all areas that meet mutual interests was emphasized.
