Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Uzbekistan Ms. Aurelia Bouchez.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and France in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, tourism, scientific, educational and other fields.

The importance of the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France on 21-22 November 2022 was noted.

The parties considered proposals on the schedule of joint events for 2023.

Issues of economic diplomacy were also discussed during the talks. The parties expressed interest in the development and implementation of joint projects in various areas.
