A delegation led by the Mayor of New York City Eric L. Adams visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

According to Uzbekistan CCI Umid Safarov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, leading entrepreneurs and representatives of several business associations of Uzbekistan discussed with guests issues of deepening mutual trade-economic cooperation, developing cooperation projects, and expanding business ties between the two regions.

U. Safarov proposed to establish cooperation with the New York Stock Exchange to prepare Uzbekistan’s entrepreneurs for the capital markets of the United States of America, create a business school and acceleration programs in Uzbekistan in cooperation with leading U.S. universities, and open a joint vocational college in Tashkent.

The entrepreneurs proposed expanding the supply of agricultural products to the American market, developing the production of biochemical products, and pursuing innovative projects.
