The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan has adopted a resolution on introducing amendments and additions to the list of activities allowed to be carried out by IT Park residents.

Now IT Park residents have the right to provide multimedia and design services (web design, graphic design, computer game design, vector graphics, 3D graphics, visualization, motion design), produce animated products, engage in venture financing of projects in information technology and implement acceleration programs, as well as provide services in esports.

Legal entities must meet several criteria to obtain the status of an IT Park resident in accordance with the new types of activities. In particular, for venture financing, it is necessary to be registered and located at the legal address on the territory of the IT Park or its branches. To provide services in esports, you need to have an international certificate according to the list approved by IT Park.

New activities are expected to expand the scope of information technology services and contribute to local startups’ financing.
