The law was not violated during the elections
Russian senators, who announced the preliminary results of the Uzbekistan Presidential Elections, noted that no cases of violation of the law affecting the voting result have been identified.
Chair of the Federation Council Committee on the Rules of Procedure and Parliamentary Governance Vyacheslav Timchenko, a member of the observer mission, spoke about this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
– The elections were successful. The voting is over, – says Mr. Timchenko. – We visited many polling stations, and everywhere we saw a high activity of voters. All candidates nominated by the five parties received equal opportunities to participate in the elections.
