The State Statistics Committee has published data on the number of monuments of monumental art in Uzbekistan.

As of January 1, the total number of tangible cultural heritage sites in the country is 8210, of which are archeological monuments (4797), architectural monuments (2266), monuments of monumental art (617), and sights (530).

The Republic of Karakalpakstan leads in terms of the number of monuments of monumental art in the context of regions (88), followed by Khorezm (81), Tashkent (74), Jizzakh (59), Tashkent city (43), Andijan (42), Syrdarya (41), Surkhandarya (39), Samarkand (36), Kashkadarya (35), Fergana (32), Navoi (22), Bukhara (17) and Namangan (8) regions.
