In January-March 2022, the processing industry in Uzbekistan was the leader in the structure of foreign investments in fixed capital and loans by type of economic activity.

According to the State Statistics Committee, 42.3% of the total volume of investments in fixed capital was mastered in this type of economic activity. 

High rates were also noted in the power industry, gas supply – 15.5 %, mining – 11.2 %, and agriculture – 7.0 %.
