At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived in Uzbekistan on August 25 for a state visit.

At Samarkand airport, the King of Jordan was welcomed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

In honor of the distinguished guest, the national flags of the two countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up.

A solemn ceremony was held featuring national songs and dances.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for tomorrow. Today, the heads of state will jointly visit the landmarks of ancient Samarkand.
