Together with the Ministry of Health and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), specialists from the Yakuzemi Informative Education Center conducted training on post-stroke rehabilitation in Tashkent’s National Medical Center.

The training included almost 40 neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, and nurses from different regions.

Several projects have been implemented together with JICA to equip medical institutions in Uzbekistan with modern equipment and prevent and combat non-communicable diseases. 

Similar training is planned to be conducted in different regions of Uzbekistan. This will contribute to the development of rehabilitation, and patients who have suffered a stroke will have an increased chance of returning to a healthy life.
