In recent years, practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and China has been expanding and gaining a solid institutional foundation. In particular, in the first six months of 2025, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and China exceeded $7.7 billion, 17 percent more than in the same period of 2024.
A meeting was held at the Customs Committee with a delegation led by Wang Ning, President of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC). Deputy Chairman of the Committee N. Musamuhamedov welcomed the guests. The main topic of discussion was the customs territory processing regime, the Customs Committee reported.
Head of the Department for Business Support I. Pardayev delivered a presentation on “Procedure for applying the customs territory processing regime in the production of well-known brands and competitive products in the electronics sector”. The presentation provided a detailed explanation of the requirements and advantages of operating under this regime.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to take the necessary measures to intensify cooperation and to expedite the implementation of the projects under consideration.
