A virtual meeting took place on the implementation of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the comprehensive preparation of athletes of Uzbekistan for the XXXIII Summer Olympic and XVII Paralympic Games to be held in the city of Paris (France) in 2024”.

Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Shakhrullo Makhmudov, Deputy Chairman of the NOC Sherzod Toshmatov, secretary generals of federations and associations, head coaches discussed issues of creating conditions for athletes, the quality of training camps, improving the system of Olympic selection of athletes, technical and tactical factors of preparation. The inattention to the programs adopted to achieve decent results in international competitions was criticized. The opinions and proposals of responsible persons of sports federations, head coaches and specialists were heard, and the necessary instructions were given.
