The 63rd International Flower Festival, which lasted 40 days and gave millions of people beauty, grace, and pleasure, became a kind of “calling card” of Namangan.

The festival's closing ceremony took place in the summer amphitheater in the New Uzbekistan Park in Davlatabad district. The festive event was attended by ambassadors of several countries in Uzbekistan, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the public and the media, famous artists, activists, and elders of the region.

Hokim of Namangan region, deputy of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Shavkat Abdurazakov noted that on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the usual flower holiday, which has been celebrated since 1961, was raised to the level of an international festival.

The Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov emphasized that the dedication, desire, and hard work of creative people, entrepreneurs, and ordinary workers of Namangan were actively demonstrated at the festival.

The event has become popular not only in the country but throughout the world. A clear confirmation is that from May 19 to June 23, more than 200,000 tourists from 60 countries visited Namangan.

The summer amphitheater with 2,400 seats, built in the New Uzbekistan Park on 65 hectares, became a worthy gift for this festival.

In preparation for the festival this year, 45 million flower seedlings of more than 65 varieties were planted in Namangan. Fashion and Talent Week 2024, Drone Show, Illusion Show, miniature and painting exhibitions, and special programs by famous artists delighted visitors worldwide. The Lavender Festival organized in the Pop district and the Pilaf Championship in the Mavlono Lutfullo Park in Chust district contributed to the popularization of the flower festival. Almost ten international workshops and meetings on scientific potential, mutual business, and entrepreneurial relations, as well as events with the participation of foreign partners, were organized in Namangan.

The signing of promising contracts with large companies and private business owners from several developed foreign countries is of particular importance in economic development.
