The internal audit system is being improved

Tashkent Institute of Finance hosted a workshop on improvement of the internal audit and financial control system in the government bodies based on recognized international experience.
Experts on internal audit of the Asian Development Bank were invited to the event, organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Tashkent Institute of Finance.
Currently, internal audit and financial control services are organized in the Ministries of Public Education, Higher and Secondary Special Education, Health, Vocational Education Center of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, and the Extra-budgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Such workshops are especially important for development of activities of these services.
