The 44th UNWTO Affiliate Members Plenary Session was held in Samarkand as part of the 25th session of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization.
At a meeting dedicated to developing tourism through the principle of public-private partnership, the alliance of member states of the World Tourism Organization, consisting of representatives of private companies, destinations, and civil society, discussed the main results achieved during previous meetings. Implemented developments and success in the development strategy were reviewed, and data and proposals on promising projects and cooperation were exchanged.

The Board of Affiliate Members presented the UNWTO work plan for 2024-2025.
At the meeting, long-time committee members were also honored, including 12 in the Bronze category (30+ years of membership), 14 in the Silver category (40+ years of membership), and 1 in the Gold category (50 years of membership).

The event participants were presented with a new platform, which will be used after modernization.
