The importance of modern trends in development of e-government

The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted an international workshop on “Current trends in development of e-government: integrated services, open data, e-participation and digital technologies”.

The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted an international workshop on “Current trends in development of e-government: integrated services, open data, e-participation and digital technologies”.

Specialists of the National Agency of Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Agency of Public Services under the Ministry of Justice, higher education institutions, researchers, professors and students, leading experts from France, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan were invited to the event organized by the Academy in cooperation with the Alliance of practitioners in delivering state services.

Rector of the Academy of Public Administration Rustam Kosimov, Chairman of the Steering Committee of Astana Civil Service Hub Alikhan Baimenov and others noted that development of e-government is an important factor of efficient cooperation between population, business and government.

Special attention was paid on introduction of best innovative and practical solutions in e-government, discussion of emerging issues in study and application of international experience and effective use of innovative technologies in development of public services.

The Action plan of the Alliance for 2019 and research topics in 2019-2020 were considered at the workshop.

Within the framework of the event, participants will visit the Agency of Public Services under the Ministry of Justice, become familiar with public services provided to individuals and legal entities.
